Seeking your donations supporting our Charter Day fundraising campaign

The Mother Pearl Alumni Association (MPAA), is an IRS 501(c) 3 charitable organization. Each December MPAA hosts its Charter Day fundraising event, where we will celebrate more than 112 years of service that our members have provided to Howard University and the community. We have set a fundraising goal of $150,000 to commemorate the occasion and we need help from donors like you to get there. 

Our annual Charter Day fundraising campaign helps to provide financial assistance to needy Howard University students. Your contribution will help to bolster our efforts to provide grants and stipends directly to students.

Many of Howard University’s 9,000 students need financial aid to fund their education because the rapidly rising cost of higher education as well as other economic factors can be daunting for many students and their families. In fact, 87% of Howard University students are in need financial assistance, which is why MPAA is committed to making a different and helping students to complete their college education.

We welcome your participation and hope you’ll agree to serve as either a Platinum – $5,000, Gold – $3,000, or Silver – $1,000 sponsor. In exchange for your generous donation, we will provide you or your organization with prominent placement and exposure during the program.
